CONDITIONS FOR HIRE AND SALE OF GOODS TO CONSUMERS AND BUSINESSES

- New customers will be asked to produce ID for us to copy and keep on record, usually in the form of a Passport, ID card or a driver’s license, before the start of a hire period. Photos of the documents will be taken at the contract signing stage or can be sent in via email.
- A deposit is required at the start of the hire. Each product has a unique deposit value, please submit a quote request via the Basket for exact values. Deposits will be returned to the customer upon the return of the hired equipment.
- The customer is responsible for all hired equipment and it is the customer’s responsibility that they have adequate insurance cover. Any equipment lost, stolen or damaged will be charged to the customer on a new for old basis.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that only properly trained staff are permitted to use any equipment supplied by us and the end users have been supplied with safety instructions and appropriate safety clothing. SoloHire accepts no liability for any damage, injury or faults caused by improper use and handling of the equipment.
- All equipment must be returned in a clean and presentable condition. A cleaning fee of £20 is charged for any equipment returned in a dirty condition.
Prices and VAT
SoloHire strive to maintain prices as published on this website but reserve the right to amend prices as necessary without prior notice. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. Prices are negotiable for long term or high quantity hires.
Payment and Deposits
Payment and deposits are payable to SoloHire prior to us handing over the equipment into your possession. All payments to be paid in cash in advance. For alternate forms of payment, please speak to us directly.
Delivery Information
All tools and equipment can be collected and dropped off at our head office address anytime during our opening hours. For added convenience, we can also deliver/collect tools and equipment from your door or site; additional charges based on distance and size/weight of equipment may apply.
